Covid-19 Notice

No campers from out of province allowed to camp at park. The Lions Booth will not be rented out this year and the July 1st event will also be cancelled this year.

Park Description

Thirty five acres of heavily wooded parkland. Clean sandy beaches awesome playgrounds, ball diamonds, new mini golf, renovated washrooms and showers, sewer dump station, boat launch, picnic area, fishing dock and a concession booth.

Local Services

The Village of Middle Lake has a grocery store, bar & restaurant, liquor vendor, Co-op card lock, post office and an ATM. Amenities near the park: gasoline, hiking, basketball court, golf course and groceries.

Park / Area History

Built by the local volunteers of the community, Lucien Lake officially became a regional park in 1967.

Barrier Free Access

Campsites: Level grass/gravel. Walkways/Trails: Level gravel.



All persons camping in the park must be 20 years of age or older unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. Dogs must be kept on leash. No dogs allowed on the beach or by concession.  Campsite 21 can only be booked for a maximum of 2 weeks per reservation.

Only one camping unit is allowed per site.

The park has 30-30 amp power campsites, 16-30 amp power & water campsites, 40-15 amp power campsites and 8 non serviced campsites. Each site has a picnic table and either a pole barbecue or a fire pit. Garbage cans are also situated throughout the park. Potable water available at various locations throughout the camp ground. The sites are also well treed with mature aspen which offer shade and privacy. Campsite 21 can only be booked for a maximum of 2 weeks per reservation.  Site 63 is capable of holding 3 campers.

Large marked swimming area with beach, docks in shallow and deep water.

Playground/Recreation Activities

A large structure is located close to the beach and consists of climbing apparatus, swings, slides and lots of sand to build sand castles. A new playground located near Lions Booth. Four ball diamonds with grass outfields are in excellent shape and are available for campers to enjoy.  Canoe and Kayak rentals are available.

Boating and Fishing

Pickerel, perch and northern pike are in abundance, so grab your fishing pole and catch your limit. A filleting station is available for use, which is located close to the boat launch.

Hiking/Nature Trails

Various wooded trails located throughout adjacent nursing home grounds.
