2022 Photo Contest Winners
Capture this summer’s “fun in the sun”. Whatever you’re doing at your favorite Saskatchewan Regional Park, bring your camera and don’t miss that shot!!
Winning Photos may be published in the 2024 Regional Parks Guide and featured on our website. Photo credit will be given to the photographer.

Prizes are not transferable and must be accepted as awarded with no substitutions, whether in cash or otherwise, except at the sponsor’s sole discretion. The sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equivalent or greater value if prize cannot be awarded as described for any reason.
Judging: Photographs will be judged by a panel of three judges.
Entry: E-mail digital images to srpaphotocontest@gmail.com. Include in the subject line: Regional Park’s name as well as your name. Please ensure that your pictures are tagged with your name and an individual number if you are submitting more than one photo (i.e.: Smith 121, Smith 122). All photos must have been taken within a Regional Park in Saskatchewan. Please provide a brief caption of each image (15 words or less), as well as your full contact information (name, address, phone number and e-mail). Instagram submissions must be emailed to srpaphotocontest@gmail.com (using the submission guidelines listed above) upon request.
Eligibility: This contest is intended for participation of Canadian and United States residents (excluding Quebec and where otherwise prohibited by law). Entries from outside of the U.S. and Canada are not eligible. The winner must have reached the age of majority in their province or state of residence.
Eligible Submissions: Photos must be in good taste, submitted electronically and have a resolution of 300 dpi at a minimum size of 3 X 5 inches. Files should be graphic images only and in jpg format.
Photo Releases: All entrants must be able to supply a signed release for any identifiable person or persons in the photograph or their guardians and must be submitted at the time of contest entry. Failure to provide photo release will result in disqualification of the entry.
Rights: Photographic submissions will remain the property of the photographer. Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association reserves full usage rights of all entries, without cost, for use in promotional material which may include but is not limited to brochures and guides. Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association reserves the right to showcase all winning and honorable mention photography indefinitely on contest promotional material. Sponsor rights shall not include the sale of submitted photographs to other parties or other commercial use. Photo credits will be provided at the discretion of the sponsors.
Contest Dates: This contest begins June 1, 2023 and is open to entries until midnight October 15th, 2023.
Announcement of Winners: Selection of the winners will be contacted by e-mail or phone. The names of prize winners along with their winning photography will be published on Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association web site following the announcement of winners. Winning photography may also be featured in the 2024 Saskatchewan Regional Parks Guide and may be featured in other media or public events.
Prize Release: By entering this contest, participants consent to the use of their names, images, likenesses and photographs of themselves, without compensation, in any publicity carried out in any media by or on behalf of the sponsors. Unless prohibited by law, within fourteen days of receipt thereof, the winners may be required to sign and return the photography contest sponsor’s declaration and release form confirming compliance with contest rules and acceptance of prizes, as offered, and acknowledging the non-responsibility of the sponsors, its agents, and the prize suppliers in respect to injuries, accidents and misfortune relating to the contest or the awarding of the prize of the sponsor’s use of the photography.
Sponsors: This contest is sponsored by Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association. Other sponsors may be brought on at any time. Contest sponsors are not responsible for any injury, loss or damage of any kind arising out a participant’s participation in this contest or the acceptance, possession or use of the prize package or the use by sponsors of the photography submitted for this contest.
Entry in the contest is subject to all federal, provincial, state and local laws and regulations. The decisions of the contest organizers are final and binding in all maters related to this contest.
