Big News for Saskatchewan Regional Parks: New Seasonal Site Grant Program Launches!

The Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association (SRPA) is thrilled to announce the launch of the Net New Seasonal Site Grant Program; a major step forward in expanding access to camping experiences across the province. Starting July 25th, 2025, at 1:00pm, eligible regional parks can apply for up to $5,000 per new seasonal campsite, helping parks grow and welcome even more outdoor enthusiasts.

This exciting initiative supports shovel-ready projects that create or convert seasonal sites, with a focus on sustainability, accessibility, and long-term impact. Whether it’s reclaiming discontinued spaces or upgrading overflow areas, this program ensures new sites are ready for families and adventurers alike.

A maximum of 200 sites will be approved in 2025, so early applications are key. Funding will be distributed in two phases, and parks must submit photos, budgets, and final reports to receive the full grant. This is the park’s opportunity to build capacity and create more of the unforgettable moments that happen around campfires, under wide skies, and beneath the beauty of Saskatchewan’s natural landscapes.
