Saskatchewan Regional Parks: Park of the Year! 2010

Martins Lake Regional Park is a quiet and relaxing place ideal for family camping. The campground has plenty of mature tree and the grounds are well maintained. Whether you come out for the day or stay for a week, you will enjoy the natural serenity at Martins Lake.


Local Services

Nearby towns of Blaine Lake, Marcelin and Leask have grocery stores, post office, bank, hardware stores, gas stations, propane, restaurants, RCMP and pharmacies. The nearest gas station is 7 miles from the lake.

Martins Lake Regional Park has been operating since 1962!


Barrier Free Access

Campsites are level with grass and gravel. Level walkways and trails are graveled. The golf clubhouse restaurant is wheelchair accessible.

Policies

Must be 19 years of age or older to secure a campsite unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. All pets must be leashed. Pets are not permitted on the beach. The park levies a daily entry fee which is waived if you have a Regional Park pass. Daily campsites have a 3 week maximum stay.

Camping

The park has 59 electric, 9 non serviced and 78 seasonal sites. Each site has a picnic table, pole barbecue and garbage can. Firewood is available for purchase at the front gate. There are two clean, modern washroom buildings with showers available to the campers. All campsites have been recently upgraded to 30 amp power. It is recommended that you bring along a 25′ extension cord if staying in the daily campsites.  Cords are available for rent on a first come first serve basis and cannot guarantee that we will have one available.  Adapter plugs are available for purchase for $25.00 at the front gate.

Golf

The nine hole artificial turf green golf course is very scenic and provides a challenge to the most seasoned golfer.  You can either walk the course or rent a golf cart. Clubs can also be rented. The golf clubhouse has full food service to satisfy your appetite, and we are now fully licensed!

Swimming

The large sandy beach is ideal for a relaxing day at the beach. Swimming is unsupervised and Red Cross swimming lessons are held during the summer months.

Playground/Recreation Activities

The main playground is centrally located in the campground area. There is a vast arrangement of play equipment as well as plenty of sand to entertain the children.

Boating and Fishing

The lake has a good supply of pike and pickerel. A fish filleting station with running water and underground septic, along with a new boat launch, are available for use. All watercraft is permitted through the park gates.
