Moose Creek Regional Park is situated approximately 3 km North of the Alameda Dam on the eastern shore of the reservoir. The reservoir is approximately 1 km wide and about 18 km long. The park encompasses 3/4 of a section, which is largely left in it's natural state which was range land with southern trees. This is the first regional park travelers from Manitoba or North Dakota have the opportunity to visit in southeastern Saskatchewan. Although the park is not open in the winter; the reservoir is a popular spot for ice fishing and snowmobiling.
Alameda and Oxbow are nearby for shopping, gas station, church, or museums. Police and health care services are available in Oxbow.
Campsites: Grass/gravel. Walkways/trails: Newly graveled. Wheelchair accessible washrooms and showers are available. This park features a wheelchair accessible store/visitor information, restaurant and deck, showerhouse and clubhouse.

There are 31 full service sites, 28-30 amp electrical sites, with picnic tables and fire pits. There are 2 primitive sites available with tables and fire pits. There are 2 areas for group camping. Wheelchair accessible showers and washrooms are available near the campsites. We have 2 sewer dumping stations.
Golfing is available at the park. The lake is in full view for about 2/3 of this nine hole grass green course. The course is easy to walk but offers a challenge that makes it a very worthwhile addition to your golfing adventure. Driving range and practice facility are also available for golfers. Clubhouse is a licensed facility with full menu and washrooms.
Sand has been placed to create a man made beach. There are no scheduled swimming lessons or lifeguards present. A gazebo has been placed near the beach.
New playground equipment was added in 2010 at North end of park. New play structure, was added in 2013,located at South end of park.
Construction of a basketball/pickleball court started September 2020. We hope to have it fully operational by opening season.
Two floating docks and paved boat launch permit access to the reservoir for some of the finest perch, walleye, and northern pike fishing to be found in the province. Northern pike in excess of 20 lbs. are common. Perch have been a recent addition to the reservoir. The reservoir has some wind protection which has made it a popular place for water skiing and wake boards. All watercraft is permitted through the park gates.
Field for flying toy airplanes. 2 walking paths along the reservoir have been added.
