Camping

We have over 125 serviced campsites plus many more non-serviced overflow sites when needed.

These include 35 full service 30 amp sites (water, power and sewer) plus 8 full service 50 amp pull thru sites.  Many of these sites have lake views.

We now have 8 full service 50 amp pull through sites too!

Two trailer dump stations are also available. Barrier free washrooms and showers.

We also have a fully stocked park store with concession and a restaurant plus a laundromat.

We have plenty of tenting sites available too, they are well sheltered near the water/beach and on grass.  No need to reserve a tenting site, just come on down.

Group Camping

Two group camping sites are available with water, electricity, shelters (camp kitchens), play areas and washrooms nearby.  These tend to book up on long weekends so please book early.

Golf

The Pipestone Hills Golf and Country Club is 6 km from the park by road but is really only across the lake. It’s a beautiful 9 hole course with grass greens that is a “must play” for the avid golfer while you’re here.  You can take your boat across the lake to dock at the golf course if you like.

Swimming

We have a large natural sand beach with lots of play structures in the water for the kids to play on. Clean change house, shower and washroom facilities as well as an outdoor shower on the beach. There are no lifeguards on duty.  We now have canoes, paddle boards, kayaks and pedal boars for rent.  A new boardwalk is now in place for barrier free access from the store down to the waters edge.

Playground/Recreation Activities

We have several playgrounds available around the park for kids to enjoy including our new “circle project” that is a great attraction at our south end for kids and parents so be sure to check it out.  We also have a kids program that runs all summer for kids from 5 – 12 where there is supervised activities each day, and it’s free!

Boating and Fishing

The lake is approximately 7 miles long and 1/2 mile wide. Recreational boating is very popular, whether it’s a pontoon boat out for a leisurely cruise, a speed boat pulling kids or a fishing boat trolling the shores, you can do it all here! Pike, pickerel and perch all inhabit the lake and fishing has been very good. Anglers will be impressed with our fish filleting station also! We have 2 boat launches, several docks and a new marina where you can rent a slip for a few days or the whole season.

Hiking/Nature Trails

This may be our best kept secret at the park! We have some of the best hiking/biking trails around. Carved through the trees along the valley overlooking the lake and the valley, it is a must do! Whether you only want to go for a short hike or a long one, you will see nature at its best here. The trails are wide, very well groomed with several rest stops and features that will keep you informed all along the way. New for 2016 is mountain bikes for rent. This is an excellent way to enjoy the trails time and time again.

Additional Features

You can’t miss out on our annual “Living Skies Come Alive” fireworks extravaganza every August Long weekend! It has become a MAJOR entertainment event attracting thousands of people each year to our park. It’s two nights of spectacular fireworks set to music and the valley backdrop, it’s a full weekend of activities for everyone (please watch our FB page for updates on this).
