SRPA Student Bursary: Investing in Saskatchewan’s Community Builders of Tomorrow

Beyond recreation, Regional Parks play an important role in creating jobs for people in the community. Saskatchewan’s students have long been part of that story many grow up enjoying the water and campgrounds as kids, then return as teenagers and young adults for summer employment. Saskatchewan Regional Parks Association (SRPA) created the Student Bursary program to give back to the students who help keep these communities running.

Regional Parks are a vital part of rural Saskatchewan, providing employment and economic benefits to community businesses across the province. The growth of these parks reflects what’s possible when people work together in their own communities, and students are a key part of that story. Through the Student Bursary, SRPA aims to encourage the qualities of good citizenship and cooperation in the next generation of community builders by supporting their education.
